Divorce in January?
January is almost over, and the blur of the holidays feels far away. Thanksgiving is barely a memory. Christmas and Hanukah means the most to you when you remember your children’s delighted faces as they opened their present.
But now reality has set in as we all hunker down for winter. Not surprising according to a recent article in The Huffington Post – http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/01/04/january-more-divorces-tha_n_803958.html – January is the biggest month for filing for divorce.
Partially it is for tax reasons that people have held off filings until January. But it is also that people have put off thinking about divorce until after the holidays.
It is sad to come to the realization that your marriage is ending. But if this is true, you should think of the circle of life you are embarking on. As you end your Moncler outlet marriage, you will be embracing a future with possibilities that wouldn’t have existed if you were still married. So January is not just the biggest month for divorce; it is also the biggest month for new beginnings.
